July 2013 Passenger Statistics Released

July 2013 continued the upward momentum passenger wise at Toledo Express Airport.  14,484 passengers flew to or from TOL this past July which equated to a 22% increase over July 2012.  Also, this past month, we have broken the 100,000 passenger mark for the year at 102,324.
Allegiant Air again lead the pack with 7,854 passengers on/off their planes to Orlando-SFB, St. Pete/Clearwater, and Punta Gorda.  Their increase amounted to 56% over July 2012.  Their market share at Toledo Express has grown to 56% of the passengers flying in/out of TOL for a total of 57,232 passengers handled.

American Airlines operated by American Connection/Chautauqua’s July 2013 was essentially flat over July 2012 in TOL.  They handled a total of 6,556 passengers in/out of Toledo.  This was a slight decrease of .77%.

August 2013 and September 2013 will most likely show slower to probably negative growth as Allegiant has gone on hiatus from August 11th thru October 18th.  Once the later Fall kicks in, we again expect to see these stellar growth patterns.  The 2013 year, should end with an approximate 5% to 10% increase in passenger traffic over 2012.
